Welcome to the official site for my gear repair small business. In this economy we are all seeking ways to make things last longer and work better. I have decided to make myself available to the outdoor community here in El Paso by offering sewing services. I have a nice industrial sewing machine that allows me to provide high quality repairs and modifications to your outdoor gear. No reason to chuck that backpack when a new zipper can be installed. No reason for ghetto paper clip and safety pin repairs when your item can be patched and sewn with heavy duty materials making it stronger than it was before. I can also make modifications to your gear to help it fit you better or so you can attach other items or hold more stuff.

Here are just a few things I may be able to do for you:

Zipper, buckle, webbing, elastic or velcro replacement
Repair tears or holes by patching or entire panel replacement
Shorten/lengthen shoulder straps or hip belts
Add attachment points to hold water bottles, tools, or other items you may want to carry on the outside of your gear
Custom pouches/bags

I have a full-time job that pays well. So this business is more of an extension of a hobby. I don’t rely on this income to pay my bills. If my rates seem too high, I might be able to refer you to someone else or suggest replacement gear instead. In this day of quality inexpensive products from over-seas, it’s a tough call to make in regards to getting your gear repaired or just replacing it with something pretty and new. It is totally worth it to spend $35 to replace the large zipper on a $120 pack unless the rest of the pack is completely worn out as well. I will be happy to consult with you in order for you to make an informed decision.
